Elias Lanham

Elias Lanham is a music educator and marching arts instructor based in Oklahoma. He currently serves as a band director at Southmoore High School, where he has taught for three years and leads the visual program for the Southmoore indoor percussion ensemble. Prior to Southmoore, he spent a year as a band director at Weatherford and three years as a technician at Carl Albert High School.
As a performer, Elias marched with the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps in 2017 before going on to march four seasons with The Cavaliers from 2018 to 2021. An experienced brass player, he brings both high-level performance experience and years of instructional work to his teaching. He holds a degree from Oklahoma City University, where he graduated in 2023.
