Sarah Heinen

Sarah began her love of music with piano at the age of seven. Her love for music and passion for education led her to the Wanda L. Bass school of music at Oklahoma City University, where she completed her bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Education. There she studied piano under the direction of Steinway Artist, Dr. Sergio Monteiro. Besides her primary instrument, Sarah has studied both violin and organ, as well as other instruments.
Sarah also performed in the OCU Symphony orchestra on both piano and violin. She is very involved in accompaniment and other performance opportunities at OCU and outside. She often accompanies instrumental soloists and has been asked to perform newly-composed music in Project 21 concerts.
